Revisiting Internet Trolls

Those of you who have known or followed me for a while are familiar with my having been the target of a series of defamatory stories posted about me online, mostly in 2017, plus a few scattered around since. Well, I have an update that you may find interesting. And for the few people who actually still think that any of those things could be true it might convince you once and for all that they’re not.

One of my subs informed me that there was a newer post added to a website purporting to be for “frauds” that used this same “Mistress Tissa is a man with a penis spreading STDs, drunk, thief, etc” story obviously written by the same former Philly “Domme” who, apparently, just can’t quit me.

After contacting the owner of this site, with a request under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to remove my stolen photo accompanying the post, I received a response in which he provided his legal name: Scott Breitenstein. This was VERY helpful, not only because it told me what I was unable to see because he’d paid for privacy protection for his domain, but because he also decided to include several more of his sites that feature my stolen work.

In other words: he just ratted himself out as the owner of all of these sites and potentially saved me time and money were I to file a lawsuit against him.​

Of course I did some research on him. He’s 52 years old, lives in Dayton, Ohio, and is very well known as a bottom-feeder, once called “the worst man on the internet”. He runs a series of sites in which defamation runs rampant — and is ostensibly encouraged. He used to have lots of revenge porn on his sites, almost all of it featuring private images and videos of women, but it looks like he’s removed much of it. (He wouldn’t ever be able to cover the settlements if he were sued.)

I quickly found a page where someone has given him a taste of his own medicine, and shows how he can dish it out to thousands and thousands of people but can’t take even a shred of it in return. On it is a link to an interview with him. It’s worth checking out if only as a case study of malice, hypocrisy, delusion and how badly we need better internet regulations around people like him. Hard to believe that a guy who comes across as someone with an IQ of about 70 can get away with this kind of enterprise. Hard to believe that someone who does this for a living actually believes he’s a good guy and a “Christian” as he low-key brags about capitalizing off the harm and ruin of others, reporting a measly between 500 – 1200 USD per month. Sadly, he’s not alone, as discussed in this New York Times article “The Slander Industry” (also here), written by Aaron Krolik and Kashmir Hill. This is what our “Information Superhighway” has come to, I guess.

Thinking about why someone with do this, as the psychologist in me would naturally do, I had a hunch he has a particular type of “criminal” personality, like the “Domme” responsible for the posts, quite possibly brought on by early trauma. So, I searched public court records for him. Would you be surprised he has a long list of charges, including assault (physical harm), violating a restraining order, aggravated menacing, harassment, theft, and several vehicular incidents? And it looks like he’s passing his emotional troubles onto his son. In fact, it appears this is an issue for his whole family as there are dockets for several Breitensteins. So, I may be right in that he came from a trauma background. (The “Domme” also has past charges. You can even find her mugshot online.)

​The sad thing is that these people have absolutely nothing going on for themselves — and they know it. So, someone like Scott finds their “purpose” in creating blank canvasses for people, like a mentally-disturbed and failed Dominatrix, to quickly type out an imaginary story that will then get copied to site after site with absolutely no regard for how its target may suffer. It’s an irresistible invitation for a self-loathing person to try to bring a person that triggers feelings of failure or inferiority down to their level so they can feel better about being on that level. This is how they attempt to turn their feelings of being powerless into feelings of being powerful.

Unbelievably, the laws tend to protect people like them more than people like me. If I wanted to get it taken down I’d either have to rely on the integrity of the person running the site to honor my request (the joke here is that they don’t have any or they wouldn’t run sites like this) or I have to take the Domme who wrote it to court, prove she made it up (“Your Honor, I present to you exhibit A: My Vagina”), and then get a court order for its removal. For those that don’t know, defamation lawsuits easily go into the five figures. The means I can expect to spend at least $10,000 to do this. This is not how I would want to spend that kind of money were I to have it just lying around. So, here we are.

Instead, I’ve chosen to confront and make an example out of it. To bring attention to it and discuss what it is: a collection of lies to stir up and exploit the fears of those who go looking for information about me. I’ve also used it as a warning about carefully selecting the Domme with whom you choose to session (and work), as the woman who wrote this once held sessions (and collaborated) with some of you. Now, I’m adding another piece to this conversation by including the kind of people, like Scott Breitenstein, who create these platforms and actually make a living off this.

So, just to reiterate: I’m not a man with a penis. (I’ve been with a lot of them, though, and I’m sure some of them could verify that not only do I have a pussy, it’s a pretty nice one.) I have never spread any sexually transmitted infections. (Because I clean the shit out of everything.) I’m not a drunk, drug addict, or thief. (All totally below my vibrational level.) And I certainly don’t ruin lives. (Ask these people.) There’s no way I could be a respected member of the Philly BDSM scene since 2007 and a consistently top-rated pro since 2015 if any of this were true. Spank you very much and good night.
